Restaurants tourists have to visit when they find themselves in San Diego
Warren Van Dam from San Diego, California, is a food blogger always eager to talk about his city’s best eateries. Whether it’s a restaurant, a food truck, a cafe, a bakery, or a dessert bar, he’s always excited to review these spots. As a foodie, Warren enjoys all kinds of cuisines. He takes his time savoring each meal, which makes him an engaging food reviewer.
For today’s blog, Warren looks at two must-try restaurants in his favorite city.
Huntress
Huntress can be found in Gaslamp Quarter. The menu of this steakhouse is sure to satiate even the most skeptical meat-eaters. And while the steaks are the restaurant’s main feature, the seafood is a must-try as well, prepared by Executive Chef James Montejano. The desserts are a fitting end to one of the heartiest and most scrumptious eating experiences Warren Van Dam has ever tried. Also, Huntress has a great whisky selection for those interested.
The Presley
Over at Liberty Station, there’s a restaurant called The Presley. Located where Fireside used to be, The Presley has a big outdoor dining area of over 2,000 square feet. Its menu, from the mind and talents of Executive Chef Todd Nash, doesn’t disappoint. It includes classic American cuisine such as lobster roll sliders, horseradish crusted salmon, and grilled pork prime ribs. Classic cocktails can also be prepared for anyone up for an alcoholic drink, Warren Van Dam adds.
